OakCraft employees are very proud to participate with OakCraft President, Danny Spitler, by supporting Danny and his family's charitable foundation established to provide support for the Spitler School in Cambodia. Danny and his wife Pam are avid world travelers, and on a visit to Cambodia in 2005 they were moved by the poverty and lack of educational opportunities for young children. This led to the establishment of the Spitler School in the rural village of Ang Chagn Chass. From its humble beginnings in a wood and thatch building, with dirt floors and two teachers, the school has expanded in five years to a full campus of substantial buildings and a full contingent of teachers and staff providing a full primary education for almost 500 students.
